When it comes to taco night, nothing beats the rich, saucy flavor of Beef Birria. Traditionally, it takes hours to braise the meat until it's tender and soak up all the flavor. But with Old Hacienda's ready-to-eat Beef Birria, you can have restaurant-quality tacos on the table in under 10 minutes—no slow cooking required.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Old Hacienda Beef Birria
  • Shredded cheese
  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • Diced onions
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges
  • Salsa or hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

    Warm the Old Hacienda Beef Birria according to the package directions. Reserve the consomé.

    Dip the tortillas in the consomé. Add a layer of shredded cheese, followed by a generous scoop of birria to each tortilla. Fold over and pan fry until tortillas are browned and cheese is melted.

    Open the tortillas up and top with onions, cilantro, and lime juice.

    Serve with lime wedges, salsa, and the reserved consomé for dipping.
